In OurSchoolHouse, Homeschool Learning programs for children between grades I to VIII are called the Primary Level Learning programs. They are designed to teach English , Math, Environmental science and many more subjects in fun and interactive activity based sessions. The kids can choose to learn extra curricular topics and earn certification based on their performance.
Learning Programs
Primary Level Learning Program
Grades I-VIII
For Younger kids we have Physical activity sessions for 20 minutes each day. We create a Personalized curriculum based on information provided by parents on the reading, understanding and analyzing level of the child. This curriculum will be provided in daily sessions.

Students can choose any subject of their choice from the following list or request a subject to be custom made for them. Any of these subjects can be taken parallelly with OBE subjects as well.

OBE PROGRAM
Grades I-VIII
NIOS is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) formerly known as National Open School (NOS) was established in November,1989 as an autonomous organization in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India. Government of India through a gazette notification vested NIOS with the authority to examine and certify learners registered with it up to pre degree level courses whether Academic, Technical or Vocational.
Children can start learning through the OBE program at any age and get certified for their knowledge by writing exams for their respective levels. There are 3 levels in the OBE program, they are (with their respective subjects):

Secondary Level
Grades IX & X
The certification from this level of the NIOS curriculum is equivalent to the Grade 10 certifications from Boards such as CBSE, IGCSE, State Boards etc. Children can take admission to this level with respect to the following criteria:

The Child is 14 years old as on 31st January of Current year.

A learner who has passed class VIII and has valid proof of attaining 14 years of age OR
-
A learner giving a self-certificate "I have studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course".

A learner who had studied at the secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance.

We Start coaching the students for Secondary Examination at the age of 12, so that the student can register themselves to NIOS Secondary Learning Program once they complete their 14th Birthday.

Our goal is to provide children with the skills to become independent learners who are able to learn and relearn throughout their lives. This is why we aim to develop problem solving skills throughout the course through online games and activities.

Your child's progress will be managed by an OSH Student Development Supervisor who is on hand to answer all your queries, act as your key point of contact with OSH and help both you and your child keep on track with their study programme.

Learning is at the heart of everything we do and we want our students to enjoy learning and value learning for their own sake; not simply to pass exams. We think the best way of achieving this is to help them develop good learning habits at an early age.
